To create our logo, we used a series of elements that represent "wellbeing" from our point of view. First of all, we can see a bee, which is located at the center of the design; it is an animal that represents the cooperative and persevering spirit as well as group work and coexistence. The insect has a lotus flower on its head, a species that grows and resists the toughest conditions, and we wanted to mention overcoming adversity. The protagonist of the logo is on a surfboard, a symbol of rest after all the work she has done and also an activity that takes place in the summer, just like our exchange. A curiosity about the participants is that we refer to ourselves as "wellbees", a play on words between the word "bee" and the main theme of the exchange, "wellbeing". We also wanted to show water, since it is a versatile element that can experience different states (solid, liquid and gaseous), thus adapting to any circumstance. Finally, the profile of the logo is a hexagon, which is, in a way, a safe place for the bees, where they can be comfortable and be themselves, and that is what we want to achieve in this project.
